The little things really are the big things...

Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to capture the incredible love and energy of my close family friends who are a few short days away from becoming parents.

On the hour drive to their session, I was full of ideas but also very reminiscent on the past 5 years we've experienced. I have seen so many people succeed in the past few years - friends getting married, graduating with their bachelors and masters degrees, welcoming babies into the world, finding their passions... all of these incredible things that I watched them work so hard for.

But the one thing that makes me more nostalgic than anything? I get to capture these moments, freeze one little speck of time, for people that I adore.

There is nothing more rewarding than arriving to a location with these thoughts in your head, and it set the tone.

We had the most beautiful lighting - courtesy of the severe thunderstorm warnings in the area, light to moderate rain and some stunning lightning. Trevor and Anto's pure, genuine love for one another and for their new little one was breathtaking - they needed no prompts, their giggly and serendipitous hugs inspired by love and laughter stole the show.
